Most events require a 50% down non-refundable retainer at the time of booking and is applied to the final price. We are reserving a date and timeframe that cannot be booked by anyone else in case you should need to reschedule or cancel.
Most contracts require a signature from the client that includes a model release. If a client prefers not to include a model release, higher rates may apply.
Instant Event Photography
Dan Schumacher can produce instant photos at events such as award ceremonies, concerts, fundraisers, graduations, parties, plays, presentations, reunions, religious functions, & sporting events.
Photo event folders can be imprinted with your event name, company or organization logo to personalize the memory. Custom imprinting can take up to 10 business days, so include us helping you plan your events early and often. Fundraising programs are available for qualified charitable organizations. Rates are based upon you incurring the rate fee or if guests will be purchasing on location.
Portraits
You don't walk around stiff, with a fake-grin on your face, so why should your portrait look that way? I work directly with you to ensure you get a unique, stylish portrait you'll be proud to show off.
Individual, Business, Online Dating or Family portraits can be taken in the convenience of your home, office, in the natural outdoors, or your favorite location. Every portrait is unique and tailored to the individual, family, or group.
Of course, that means we'll need to meet beforehand-- but that's a good thing-- because when it comes time to shoot your portrait, you'll be comfortable with me and I'll know the best way to capture the attitude and style you want in your images. No stiff-posed, fake-grins here! I do my best to capture the ultimate expression at that critically decisive moment.

All fees are based within a 20 mile radius of Chicago Midway Airport:
Portrait Sessions: Engagement, Business, Online Dating, Individual Portrait
Individual Family Portraits may include several poses.
All Portrait Sessions have a session fee based upon time and include:
1 DVD Music slideshow of a sampling of images, a data disc with high and low resolution images, minor retouching and a personal usage release.
Level 1: 1 Hour $175
Level 2: 1.5 Hours $225
Level 3: 2 Hours $249
Corporate Events & Commercial Day Rates available
Group Team & Individual Print Package photos, Tournament Packages Available
Additional packages, prints and upgraded paper finishes are available
Museum Canvas Wrap available in a variety of sizes
Also offered with optional 'Light Brushstrokes' to give an oil painting appearance
Custom matting and framing available
· Cash, Checks and most major Credit Cards are accepted
· Balance is due the day of your photo session/30 days prior to a wedding event.
· Make checks payable to Dan Schumacher Photography. Returned checks incur a $25 fee
· Retouching must be pre-paid.
· Prices are subject to change at anytime, and are guaranteed with contract.
Re-shoot Policy:
My goal as a professional photographer is for you to be excited, thrilled and happy with your photos. In the unlikely event there is a technical problem, I offer a free re-shoot . If your representation had another vision or you didn't feel you were at your optimal best, I can offer you a re-shoot at a discounted rate. Please address all concerns within 7 days of the photo session or delivery of images.
